The Pardon de la Saint-Hervé in Lanhouarneau will take place on 17 June 2026, presided over by Father Tanneguy de Saint Martin, the parish priest of Crozon. Activities begin at 10:30 AM with a High Mass, followed by a reception hosted by the parish. At 3 PM, Vespers will occur, leading into a procession to the fountain in honor of the 59 prisoners who safely returned home. During the procession, their names will be read by the children of these veterans, adding a personal touch to the event. Chairs will be available on-site for comfort. Local community members will carry significant religious items in the procession, including the ‘Croix d’or’ and the statue of Saint Hervé, creating a rich visual experience. After the procession, attendees are invited to enjoy a traditional café-gâteaux at Ty Placemeur, fostering conviviality and community sharing. Proceeds will support the Comité d’entraide fund. Participants can also contribute by making cakes to share, which can be dropped off at Ty Placemeur from 10:30 AM. This meaningful event to celebrate heritage and community spirit in Lanhouarneau.
