On 11 July 2026, Kaléid Brass will perform in Meursault to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Mutin Cavaillé-Coll organ at the Church of Saint-Nicolas. This historic organ, originally inaugurated in 1908 at the Théâtre du Châtelet, has been ly restored and is poised to delight audiences once more. The concert will feature Camille Saint-Saëns’s Symphony for Organ in a transcription for brass and percussion by Thierry Caens. This performance will revive the character of the inaugural concert while honoring the organ’s history. Additionally, the program will include works by famous composers such as Wagner and Sibelius, offering a blend of sound that connects the past with the present.
