The “Beaune Underground: Faubourg St-Nicolas” tour to uncover the lesser-known history of one of Beaune’s historic winegrowers’ districts. The tour begins at Porte Saint-Nicolas and lasts for two hours, accommodating only 20 visitors for a personal programme. Visitors will gain limited access to ancient winegrowers’ courtyards, the Saint-Nicolas cellars (Maison Albert Bichot), the Besancenot estate, and the historic Carmelite convent, home to the precious Chapel of the Christ Child. Organized by the Association des Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne, the programme emphasizes the rich cultural heritage of the Burgundy region.
