Massay’s Fête de la terre revisits farming practices of the mid-twentieth century. Horses and oxen take part in agricultural demonstrations, alongside traditional threshing and an old-fashioned ploughing competition. Craft and farmers’ stalls accompany models, vintage tractors, vehicles and stationary engines, making rural tools and working techniques central to the gathering.
