Plein Patin : a Loire bal trad with bagpipe and banjo

A violin, a bagpipe and a banjo pull dancers into a trad ball whose tunes trace the river country that the Loire runs through.

About this event

⚠️ Event concluded. Please check our updated agenda to discover new activities in this region.

Plein Patin is a trio that plays for dancing, and its repertoire follows the territories the Loire runs through. Elise Kusmeruck’s violin leads the dance, Pierre Blavette’s bagpipes and whistles give it edge, and Vincent Sirote’s banjo sets the pulse; all three sing. The set is announced as a bal traditionnel for all comers. Stomp boxes under their feet keep the floor moving, and children under twelve come in free.
