Puzzle Centre transforms exchanges between George Sand and Gustave Flaubert into a work for the stage. The correspondence supplies both language and dramatic tension, allowing two distinct literary voices to emerge through address, response and silence. The performance leaves career summary aside and concentrates on the act of writing to another person and on the relationship preserved in their letters. Spoken delivery makes shifts of tone and affection audible in a way that private reading does not. Presented in Rians, the piece returns Sand’s words to Berry while keeping Flaubert’s voice fully present in the dialogue. Its intimacy comes from a simple but demanding theatrical premise: letters written at a distance become a live exchange shared with an audience.
