Biou de Montholier is a grape-harvest celebration rooted in the religious traditions of the Jura vineyards. The village gathering is organised by the Comité des Fêtes de Montholier, whose volunteers also run local festivities. The custom is also celebrated in Arbois, Pupillin and Vadans, linking Montholier with other Jura winegrowing villages.
