In Châteaumeillant, a reading from George Sand opens a workshop devoted to the dendrite technique associated with her artistic practice. An introduction to her work gives the visual exercise a literary and biographical frame before participants begin drawing. Fluid, branching forms produced through the process become starting points for individual interpretation, with no finished image imposed in advance. The completed works are then brought together as an exhibition, giving personal experiments a collective public form. Supported by Culturissima Mélodiolanum and open to people aged ten and above, the session connects close reading, material discovery and the pleasure of making landscapes emerge from chance marks through a collaborative showing of new work.
George Sand
A George Sand reading leads into dendrite drawing, where participants use fluid marks to create images for a collective exhibition.
