Cécile Berly adapts the correspondence of Tatiana and Jules Roy for the reading Unicae unica in Vézelay. Tatiana’s work as a journalist, poet and translator sits beside the couple’s declarations of love and the tensions surrounding women who write. Their shared attachment to Vézelay connects an intimate exchange with the literary life of the town, within the festival devoted to Roy, Rostropovitch and Gainsbourg.
