The Fête de l’Escargot in Digoin celebrates its 35th edition, highlighting community spirit and local gastronomy. Revelers can attend a full meal featuring Burgundy snails, cold meats, and dessert for only 21 euros. The festival features nightly fireworks on Saturday and Sunday, enhancing the festive setting created by Suzzann Boy’s Evénements. A funfair on the Place de la République adds to the excitement throughout the festival. On Monday, August 3rd, a market presenting local craftsmen and regional products will be held along the levees of the Canal Latéral, allowing visitors to local arts and flavors. Since 1990, this festival has exemplified community commitment, supported by over 100 dedicated volunteers. The programme not only celebrates the culinary traditions of Burgundy but also fosters a sense of togetherness among residents and visitors
