Pas de vagues, by Marine Penhoët and Mélanie Peduzzi, draws on Berthe Riou’s photographic archives to explore seascapes and Breton women. Keridwen Gilbert examines rural labour and farming through work with farmer Romain Marec. The Kergoat heritage programme also includes Magnolia, an artwork by Andreas Kressig created for the Sonj festival.

Manoir de Kelou Mad Guided Visit
Yves and Marie-Jo Mével built Kelou Mad in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, drawing on the architecture of older Breton manor houses. They lead the guided visit themselves, introducing the building as both its owners and its makers. Kelou Mad is a later interpretation of the manor-house tradition, so the encounter includes the people who built it as well as their finished home.
Fest Noz avec Plantec
Electronic music and a light show accompany Breton dancing at Fest Noz avec Plantec in Quimperlé. Electrad, Herriwenn, Plantec and Riwall Harjay make up the amplified musical programme. The Tomahawk collective organises the fest-noz, with mussels and chips and a refreshment stand available alongside the dancing.
Fiskal: Dance and Skateboarding with C’hoari
Two skateboarders join Pauline Sonnic and Nolwenn Ferry in Fiskal, a performance by Compagnie C’hoari. Contemporary dance meets skateboarding as the choreographers explore the festive, popular character of Breton heritage. The piece looks at how these different movement cultures create a community, placing a generation of young Bretons at its centre.
Patrimoines bretons: Guy Griffoul’s Photographs
Guy Griffoul explores Breton heritage through three photographic series. The Celtic Circle of Poudouvre appears alongside Dinan’s half-timbered houses and trawlers, bringing people, architecture and maritime work into the exhibition. Based in Dinan, the photographer is drawn to fleeting moments and Brittany’s particular colours and light.
20 ans du patrimoine de Pluzunet
Pluzunet celebrates its heritage with exhibitions and village activities. A fest-deiz brings Breton dancing to the programme.
Sonneurs Noceurs with Roland Becker
Musician and researcher Roland Becker traces the history of Brittany’s sonneurs through sound and visual archives. His lecture follows the developments that shaped Breton traditional music and the lives of its instrumentalists. Becker also serves on the scientific committee for Musée du Faouët’s exhibition on sonneurs as portrayed by artists.
La Harmoye Producers’ Market and Fest-Noz
Basket weaving, handmade toys and wild-plant tasting are among the workshops at La Harmoye’s producers’ market. The gathering concludes a biodiversity inventory at Vanessa Verger’s farm, connecting the programme with the surrounding living environment. A fest-noz follows the market, with Breton dancing, refreshments and wood-fired pizzas.
Jabadao – Les Arrangés Bretons Production Tour
Vincent introduces the origins and appeal of flavoured rum before explaining Jabadao – Les Arrangés Bretons’ own approach in Cavan. The tour examines the production process and a range of recipes drawing on local and exotic ingredients. Questions and an optional tasting round off the visit; participants must wear closed shoes and meet the minimum age requirement.
Ar klub bigi, Karnag: Breton-Language Heritage Tour
Ti Douar Alre leads a Breton-language exploration of Carnac’s yacht club and the architecture of water sports. The nautical centre was designed by Yves Guillou’s practice as organised leisure and access to sport expanded. The visit forms part of Les Incontournables, a heritage programme that also considers the region’s modern buildings alongside its older monuments.
